Wisteria Woods, our 65 acre farm in the rolling hills of North Mississippi, is located in Oxford about an hour south of Memphis, Tennessee. We fell in love with miniature donkeys several years ago and have worked to establish a small herd of quality animals. At Wisteria Woods, we believe top quality donkeys can only be produced by a well-planned breeding program. Our foundation herd is composed of healthy registered donkeys with beautiful conformation, intelligence, friendly personalities and excellent bloodlines. Our mission is to match prospective buyers with the perfect donkey for them. Buying a minature donkey from us is not the end of our relationship. We are here to answer your questions and help ensure that both you and your donkeys are happy. If we don't have what you 're looking for, we'll help you locate it through our "donkey friends". Our miniature donkeys are registered with the American Donkey and Mule Society, and each one is loved and hugged daily. Our foals are imprinted at birth, and will be halter-trained, well-mannered, wormed and vaccinated before they leave us. Our donkeys are beloved members of our family. New homes must be able to provide adequate care, shelter and companionship. Donkeys are herd animals and must have a donkey friend.
